The Rotary Club of Chemainus was established in 1950. It is part of a worldwide humanitarian service organization which provides community service. The club focuses on supporting youth and other volunteer organizations locally and internationally.

The image on the left celebrates the annual Chemainus Summer Fest, when the club thanks our community for its never-ending support with a pancake breakfast and BBQ lunch (shown), plus a parade, entertainment, children’s activities and literacy promotion.

On the right is a construction project in a Mayan village in Guatemala which the club has been visiting since 2014. Funds raised build homes, provide nutrition for young children, school supplies, and shoes so children can participate in educational programs.

The central image depicts a child showing love and appreciation for what Rotary has done in her community. It captures the humanitarian aspect of the experience Rotarians and communities share worldwide.
