Kris Friesen is a BC mural artist with over two decades of experience creating diverse large-scale murals. Born in love with visual storytelling, Kris creates original works of art that reflect a client’s story, their ideas, and their expectations. No matter the medium: murals, portraiture, storyboards or concept art, Kris’ goal remains the same; to visually portray his client’s story.

Human interaction is at the core of Kris’ work. When a painting accurately reflects the intended sentiment, and he gets to witness the community interacting with his representation, it is one of the most rewarding aspects of his “job.” As art can transcend culture, age, and gender, Kris’ art can transform the client, the viewer, the physical space, or, if he’s really fortunate, all three.
